U-TRAX is proud to present this re-issue of the remastered 1995 Black Hole EP from legendary Dutch downtempo duo The Connection Machine, alongside previously unavailable tracks from 2011 and a Legowelt remix.

Combining old and newer material, the luxuriously put together BlackHole+ offers fans and newcomers alike a comprehensive view of a group that made dance music history, considered to be pioneers of the Downtempo genre.

For his Legowelt remix, Danny Wolfers tracked down the instruments used in the original with the help of TCM, and he played all parts from scratch, by lack of stems or even midi files. He upped the tempo and added some simply delightful string parts and vocoder lines ("The Connection Machine, forever in space!"), making his remix sound both modern and vintage - and very danceable!
